Hi – My children have complained that we have had too much chicken lately, so I said if they helped me there would be no chicken on the menu this week. So this weeks menu has many new recipes brought to you by my children. I’ll report back on how each one was.

Day 1: Slow Cooker Philly Cheesesteaks will serve with easy salads after a day on the fields
Note: We used melted cheddar cheese. This was good, super easy and a different slow cooker meal but no one LOVED it….
Day 2: Cheesy Rice and Bean Skillet
Day 3: Pesto Steak Sandwiches (Short-cut Meal) – will serve with salads or an easy roasted veggie
Day 4: Skillet Lasagna with a side of broccoli
Note: This was a new recipe and I would make it again, my family loved it. I found the layering of the noodles tough and when I broke them into pieces and just pushed them in all around it was easier. I was able to make this head and then reheat it which is a plus for our family.
