This homemade apple pie spice comes together with 3 simple pantry ingredients and will make your fall baking easier. It is a cozy blend of spices that can be used for fall baking such as muffins, pies, breads, crisps, oatmeal etc….
What to make with Homemade Apple Pie Spice
Everyday ways to add it:
- Add it to your oatmeal with a cut up apple (here is a similar recipe)
- Apple Pie Overnight Oats – use a tsp in this recipe instead of just cinnamon
- Cook an apple with 1/2 tsp and serve with yogurt – see here (I would do this in bulk)
- A fall inspired latte – add 1/2 tsp to your milk
- Add it to your favorite pancakes for a spiced fall flavor
- Use it in your favorite granola recipe

Ingredients
- 6 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp nutmeg
- 4 tsp all spice
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a small container that can be sealed and shake well. Alternatively place all ingredients in a small bowl, whisk to combine and store in an airtight container.
Notes
Note: Some people like to add cardamom, but I find most people don't stock their pantry with it and it does not need it. If you like and have it I would add 2 tsp of cardamom to it.
