These microwaved eggs are so easy to make and I love that I don’t need to dirty a pan to make them! This is not a new concept, but we just recently started making them this way so I wanted to share with you in case you have never made eggs this way.
What you need to make Microwaved Eggs
All you need is eggs, any milk and salt and then follow my simple recipe ratio of 1 tbsp of milk per egg and 1/4 tsp salt. You can add spinach or leftover cooked veggies and cheese as well, but my kids prefer them simple.
They are also great for kids to learn to make their own eggs and do because they don’t need to use a hot stove top. These are great for busy mornings when I don’t want to clean a pan and only one or two kids want eggs. Now that Savanna and John are back in school and it it just Peter for lunch, I love that I can make one egg without making a big mess. These also make a great protein filled snack before an activity or sport.
Times may vary depending on your microwave, but that should give you a good base. You can check out a video of me making them here.
