Naan Pizza

Easy Naan Pizza - Photo5 Ingredient Friday = Naan Pizza!  These super easy pizzas are the perfect speedy weeknight meal or fun lunch!  We love these because they are a great little personal size and my kids love customizing them.  They are a fun meal for even toddlers to help out with!  Check out my short video showing you how we made them!

The naan yields for a soft and pillowy crust!  They come together with 3-5 ingredients and they are super adaptable to your personal tastes.  I really like them because they feel less heavy and greasy compared to store bought pizza. 

Naan Pizza Topping Suggestions

  • Plain – sauce & mozzarella
    • Add Basil!
    • Pepperoni (or turkey pepperoni)
    • Sausage
    • Salami
    • Olives
    • Veggies – broccoli or peppers
  • White – mozzarella and ricotta or parmesan
    • Add Basil
    • Add Prosciutto
    • Veggies – shredded brussels or thin zucchini slices
  • Pesto – replace sauce with pesto & mozzarella

Naan Pizzas

I love making my own pizza dough but these are perfect for those of you who are scared of yeast and dough or just really don’t want to deal with it or the mess.  5 Naan’s and some fruit and veggies were perfect for my 3 kids lunch.  We usually eat about 8 when we have them as a family with a big salad! I have included that conversion in the notes section of the recipe!

Ingredients

  • 5 Large Naan’s
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Topping # 1 = Turkey Pepperoni for us
  • Topping #2 = Veggie, Olives..... (see notes section for more suggestions)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Place your Naan’s on baking sheet
  • Divide and spread your sauce evenly among the Naan
  • Sprinkle cheese evenly among Naan
  • Add toppings of choice
  • Bake for 5-8 minutes
  • Let cool 5 minutes and enjoy!

Notes

8 Naan = 3/4 cup sauce + 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
