I am excited to share the items that I most frequently buy at Costco for my family. This is not an all-inclusive list. These are the items that work well for my family and we enjoy. There are numerous other pre-made items but we have not discovered any that enough of us like. I will update this periodically as I find more of those items. I would love to hear if your family has favorites (leave a comment below)! Included are some easy shortcut meal ideas, but you can find a full post here with more detail. Below are visuals as well as a list, but you can also print the entire visual PDF here.
Bakery, Beverages & Breakfasts
- Stonefire Naan Bread
- Stonefire Naan Dippers
- Pepperidge Farm 15 Grain Bread (2 loaves – kid’s preference)
- Dave’s Killer Bread Thin Sliced (my favorite)
- Artisan Rolls (great for sausage & peppers, meatball subs, steak sandwiches etc….)
- Mission 8 inch Tortillas (36)
- Thomas’ English Muffins (18)
- Cookies, Muffins & Cakes: (not pictured)
- Cakes: I have tasted the chocolate cake – decent and great for big kids parties (they can put a picture on it for you)
- Chocolate Chip Cookies and Variety Pack – great big cookies for kids parties, BBQs, potlucks…
- Muffins – I have never bought. They would probably be good for a large gathering or a brunch but do not look healthy.
- One Degree Organic Oats (certified Gluten Free if you need)
- Quaker Old Fashioned Oats (buy on a more regular basis)
- Cereals: They have a large selection of cereals, but I actually do not find those prices to be competitive to local store sales.
- Polar Seltzers (these are our favorite, but they do have numerous other brands)
- Vitamin Water (they have a variety of sports drinks and find the prices to be great on them)
- Beer (not exact one picture because they rotate but they have some great local IPAs)
Dairy & Eggs
They have numerous brands of yogurt and milks (including oat) this is just what we buy on a regular basis. Additionally, not pictured I rotate buying a Stonyfield Yogurt Item: smoothie, fruit and veggie pouch or yogurt tube.
- Organic Milk
- Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
- Kirkland Signature 3 Cage Free Eggs (they sell regular and organic as well)
- Kirkland Unsalted Butter
- Activia Yogurts or a Stonyfield Yogurt Item (see above)
- Fage Greek Yogurt
- Kirkland Manchego & or Switzerland Gruyere (not pictured)- this is great for parties / snack trays
- Polly-O String Cheese (large quantity!)
- Shredded Milk Cheddar (this comes in 2 bags and I freeze the 2nd bag until I am ready to use)
- Shredded Mozzarella (this comes in 2 bags and I freeze the 2nd bag until I am ready to use)
- Cello Pecorino Romano
- Bel Brands Mini Babybel
Meat & Seafood
Note: I have never bought the salmon but I have heard it is good from others. I actually do not like salmon, just Chris and the boys do sometimes so I buy at Whole Foods.
- Columbus Turkey Bacon
- Kirkland Regular Cooked Bacon (pre-made is so great and less messy)
- Kirkland Beef Hot Dogs
- Organic Kirkland Ground Beef (85% lean)
- Butterball Ground Turkey
- Organic Kirkland Chicken Breasts
- Organic Kirkland Chicken Thighs
- Swift Pork Tenderloins
- Kirkland Boneless Short Ribs

- Kirkland Mild Italian Chicken Sausage
Short-Cut Easy Meat Purchases
See my Costco Meal Ideas Post here for more details.
- Amylu Garlic Asiago Chicken Sausage
- Sheet Pan Gnocchi with Sausage & Veggies (you have to buy the gnocchi in a regular store). You could just do the veggies and sausage and serve over pasta or a grain instead.
- Sheet Pan Sausage & Peppers with veggies. You can buy all of the ingredients at Costco.
- Cuisine Solutions Grass Fed Beef:
- Roast a veggie (broccoli, string beans, asparagus and warm this up for the last 5 minutes of roasting time – serve alone or as a sandwich with Costco pesto on Costco artisan rolls.
- Warm it up and serve over one of their great salad bags (they have numerous options).
- Cuisine Solutions Grilled Chicken (not pictured)
- Meal Ideas same as Beef above
- Shredded Chicken
- Check out all of my shredded chicken meal ideas here.
- Amylu Organic Paleo Italian Meatball
- Warm up in your slow cooker with Raos sauce for a super easy meal. You can do it with pasta or keep it super simple and serve as subs on the Costco Artisan Rolls. I love doing this with their Caesar Salad Bags.
- West End Cuisine Grilled Chicken Skewers
- See this post for all meal ideas
- Kirkland Street Taco Kit
- I normally pick up some corn to go with (they have frozen and fresh corn).
- Amylu Chicken Burgers
- Heat these up on a sheet pan while you roast a veggie (string beans, Brussels, broccoli, asparagus, peppers….) and serve on an English muffin or artisan roll
- Amylu Chicken Teriyaki Meatballs
- Saute broccoli, string beans or asparagus, then add the meatballs & Kinder’s Teriyaki Sauce and heat on medium low for 10-15 mins. Serve with the bibigo sticky rice or frozen cauliflower rice.
- Or place a veggie of choice on a sheet pan with meatballs and mix with 1 cup of the kinder’s Teriyaki sauce for about 20-25 minutes at 400. Serve over bibigo sticky rice or frozen cauliflower rice.
- Kevin’s Korean BBQ Steak
- Saute broccoli, string beans or asparagus and then add the beef in and follow the remainder of the heating instructions. Serve with the bibigo sticky rice or frozen cauliflower rice.
- Bare Frozen Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks (not pictured above – in frozen) – these are great as salad toppers (I really enjoy almost all of the bagged salads at Costco) or in wraps with your favorite sauce (bbq, buffalo, ranch….).
Frozen (also helpful for short-cut meals)
- Riced Cauliflower (comes separated in 1 lb bag) – great short cut side dish. It can be microwaved, but I prefer to saute it if I have time. I often make this for myself when my children have regular rice.
- Frozen Blueberries (they also have other frozen fruit and blends this is what I buy most often).
- Organic Super Smoothie – not an all the time by but we like!
- Dr. Praegers Veggie Burgers – these are great for lunches. 4 out of 5 of us enjoy them or for when we are having regular burgers and 1 or 2 of us don’t want meat.
- Frozen Vegetables: Broccoli, Peas, Corn – the broccoli comes in separate 1 lb bags that I find helpful. They also have other blends, but my children do not like enough in the mixes.
- Eggos (these are not an all the time buy for us but I do stock the freezer about 2-3x a year with them because the ingredient list is fairly simple and they are great quick breakfast (especially with Peanut Butter for protein).
- As seen above but wanted to repeat here:
- Bare Chicken Breast Chunks toss with bbq sauce, buffalo sauce or ranch to make a quick wrap, or great as a salad topper with one of their bagged mixes (I have found almost all of the salad mixes great).
- Perdue Chicken Nuggets – kids favorite
- Tilapia Loins – top with their pesto and roast for 15 minutes for an easy fish sandwich or roast with a veggie and serve over one of their many grain options.

Snacks, Candy, Nuts
Not pictured they have a great price on chia seeds and hemp seeds but the package is too big for me so I buy at trader joes instead. Additionally they have a great price on Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers but since we are not Gluten Free and my children cannot take to school I don’t purchase.
