This Air Fryer Chicken Wing recipe is super crispy and offers a healthier version for an easy meal that my family loves! They come together quickly and are delicious, with or without sauce! We find these wings perfect for busy nights filled with activities. You can either prep ahead and cook them as needed, or prepare them all in advance, as they reheat incredibly well. I love this recipe because the chicken cooks in the same time it takes to heat my oven; it’s freezer-friendly and provides a lighter, easier alternative to traditional fried chicken wings.

This recipe comes to together with 8 basic ingredients, all of which you most likely already have in your spice cabinet.

Tips for Air Fryer Chicken Wings
- Ensure the wings are as dry as possible (pat them dry with a paper towel) prior to seasoning.
- Do not overcrowd the basket: I usually do 8-10 wings at a time.
- If you are making this recipe with frozen wings, I recommend defrosting them first. This ensures that the seasonings and baking powder will properly absorb into the wings, resulting in a crispy skin. I do not suggest cooking the wings straight from the freezer.
- Neutral oil: my go to neutral oil is avocado oil but you can also use canola or vegetable oil.
- Serve with corn, salad, raw veggies, quesadillas or mac and cheese for a complete meal (we usually do raw veggies and quesadillas).

Storage Tips
- Make the wings in advance: Batch cook these and then freeze or keep in the fridge until needed.
- They will last about 3-4 days in the fridge.
- To reheat, just place in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-5 minutes until heated through and crispy.
- You can FREEZE!
- Freeze cooked. They can stay in the freezer for 2-3 months. Cook them straight from frozen. Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes and then cook for 8-10 minutes on 400.
